Alpha-Insulation with wool, 153g/sqm [MM]

The Alpha Direct with wool is a further development of the classic Alpha Direct. It is also suitable for high-movement activities in cool temperatures where high breathability and a small packing size are required. Unlike the classic Alpha, this version has a smooth wool side and only one side with the familiar loft made from a hydrophobic polyester knit. The wool ensures that moisture is better transported away from the body and is therefore also well suited as a base layer or can also be worn next to skin. The loft side also consists of very fine, stable fibers that store body heat. The insulation is warm even when damp, compresses well and is very easy to care for. Alpha with wool was designed as an insulating lining. When used as a lining, the loft faces the body (but can also be used the other way around, depending on the intended use). It is also sufficiently stable to be used on its own.

In order to achieve maximum lightweight and breathable clothing, a combination with very lightweight and highly breathable, waterproof or windproof or windrepellent fabric is ideal. Lightweight jackets, vests, pants, gloves or hats are perfect for winter endurance sports, e.g. mountaineering, jogging, cross-country skiing or ski touring. But of course also ideal for everyday wear, hiking etc.
