X-Pac® is a backpack fabric inspired by modern high-tech sailing laminates. The manufacturer Dimension Polyant has been a specialist in innovative and reliable fabrics for sailing for over 50 years. And with this know-how, they developed the X-Pac® backpack-laminates that stand for reliable fabrics for backpacks, bags, frame bags and many other applications that are optimised for a wide range of uses. X-Pac® is always 100% waterproof, extremely robust and has an excellent durability-to-weight ratio.
Depending on the construction, X-Pac® fabrics are divided into 3 lines:

X4

The 4-layer construction consists of an outer fabric, the X-Ply reinforcement fibres typical of X-Pac®, a waterproof polyester film and a lightweight lining on the inside.

Available styles are:

•     VX21 with 210den Nylon outer fabric and 205g/sqm.
•     VX21 CIRE with a smooth, shiny 210denier nylon outer fabric and 205g/sqm
•     RVX25 with 250 denier polyester outer fabric and 269g/sqm
•     VX42 with 420 denier nylon outer fabric and 285g/sqm
•     VX03 with 30x40denier ripstop nylon outer fabric and 140g/sqm
•     VX07 with 70denier ripstop nylon outer fabric and 167g/sqm

X3

The 3-layer X3 line comes without the additional lining on the inside. So the transparent polyester film is on the inside and the X-Ply fibres remain visible.

Available styles are:

•     X21 with 210den outer fabric and 177g/sqm
•     X42 with 420den outer fabric and 260g/sqm
•     X50 with 500 denier Cordura® nylon outer fabric and 315g/sqm
•     X51 with 500 x 1000 denier Cordura® nylon outer fabric and 325g/sqm
•     RX30 with 300 denier 100% recycled polyester outer fabric and 262g/sqm
•     X10 or X11 with 10oz Natural Cotton Duck outer fabric and 360g/sqm

LS®

The LS® or Lite Skin® styles are inspired by latest sailcloth technologies. The 100% waterproof LS® laminates are made from our non-woven fabric with a UVt® top coating, providing the perfect combination of light weight and long lasting abrasion resistance.

Available styles are:

•     LS07 with non-woven polyester LiteSkin® outer fabric and 70den lining. Weight 115g/sqm
•     LS21 with Non-Woven Polyester LiteSkin® outer fabric and 210den lining. Weight 214g/sqm
•     LS42 with Non-Woven Polyester LiteSkin® outer fabric and 420den lining. Weight 233g/sqm
