X-Pac® VX21 Ocean Edition, recycling backpack laminate, 210g/qm

With the X-Pac® VX21 Ocean Edition, Dimension Polyant is launching a more sustainable alternative to the classic VX21. Unlike the VX21, the Ocean Edition has an outer fabric made from 100% regen™ nylon. The special feature: The nylon is made entirely from old fishing nets and is therefore completely post-consumer recycled. In addition, the X-PLY fibers and the polyester lining are made from post-consumer recycled polyester.

Otherwise, the construction of the X-Pac® VX21 Ocean Edition is identical to the VX21. It is a multi-layer backpack laminate that resembles the structure of a sail laminate: Abrasion-resistant 210den nylon on the outside, a thin polyester fabric on the inside and strong X-PLY fibers laminated in between in an X-shape. This construction makes X-Pac® abrasion-resistant, dimensionally stable, extremely tear-resistant and completely waterproof. The X-PLY fibers give the fabric its typical coarse diamond structure. The white inside makes it brighter in the bag and the contents more visible. It is ideal for lightweight yet durable backpacks and bags etc. X-Pac® VX21 has been used for years for high-quality backpacks, bikepacking bags, hipbags, etc. Thanks to its laminated construction, it is reliably waterproof.
