Bikepacking-Set made of ECOPAK® and ULTRA® TEN X

Tom is heading out on a trip and packing his beloved Kona for a 3-week on the Hydra Trail. Of course, it’s fully equipped with his hand-sewn bikepacking bags. The eyecather is definitely the stuffsack made from the new, ultralight ULTRA® TEN X in pink by Challenge Sailcloth. With its outer fabric made of 100% UHMWPE and a lightweight 99 g/sqm, it’s perfect for the job.

Further Details

Rack Holster

The rack holster is a combination of Hypalon, Fixplus® straps, and elastic cord. It protects the pack from abrasion caused by the rear wheel or the bike rack from below and also makes it easier to handle.

Top Tube Bag

Top tube bag made of ECOPAK® EPLX400 in teal with an extra-strong EPLX800 black trim running all the way around. The entire bag is kept in shape by an internal PE panel. Small items are always within easy reach in the small side pocket made of elastic Dyneema® ripstop

Framebag

The framebag, made from the same material combination as the Toptube Bag, has already proven itself on several tours. Thanks to a single main compartment that opens with two zippers, the contents are always easily accessible. The frame attachment, featuring a cord and an open cord hook, secures the bag tightly and securely to the frame but can be attached and removed without the hassle of threading or unthreading.

Snack Packs

The snack packs are also made from ECOPAK® EPLX400 in the color Teal and EPLX800 in black. The collar is made from lightweight, silicone-coated 30-denier Diamond Ripstop Cordura®. It’s nice and light, and everything slides in and out of the bag easily. The closure, consisting of a Cyberian Cord Lock and zipper pull, can be operated with one hand while riding. The snack packs are secured at the bottom using a combination of a Smiley-Tanka with hooks, a Beastee D D-ring, and an elastic cord.

Front Roll with Holster

The front roll, made of black ULTRA® TEN X, is attached to the handlebars using a Cordura® holster, a Polyethylene sheet, a tent pole, and Fidlock® buckles. Four Fixplus® nano gear straps hold the holster securely in place.

Bottle Securing System

Another nice detail is the additional bottle securing system on the down tube. The bottle cage bears the main load. The Fixplus® Nano gear strap, secured by a 12mm triglide, provides additional stability for the bottle.
