The SNAP series includes the most versatile fasteners from Fidlock and ranges from small, inconspicuous fasteners in size S to extra-sturdy workhorses in size L. There are models for riveting, screwing on and off, sewing on, with strap attachments or with tube clamps. All SNAP fasteners consist of a MALE part and a FEMALE counterpart in sizes S, M or L. Depending on the intended use, parts of one size can be combined with each other. Each part must be ordered separately.

The SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE SCREW in size S is a male counterpart to the SNAP fasteners in size S from Fidlock. The SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE SCREW consists of 2 parts and is fixed by screwing the counter plate with an internal thread. This version is suitable for materials such as fabrics, straps, tarpaulins, or sheet material with a total thickness of up to approx. 4 mm. Unlike the normal MALE SCREW, the mushroom-shaped shaft is not fixed in place, but is held down by a weak magnet. This results in a flatter and more flush finish. When the SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE SCREW comes into contact with a matching FEMALE counterpart, the shaft is pulled out and locks securely into place. After pulling out, the small magnet in the body of the RETRACTABLE SCREW pulls the shaft back again.
