Fidlock has come up with something very special for its fasteners: Small neodymium magnets are hidden inside, which automatically click together when the parts are brought together. A mechanical latching mechanism automatically locks the fasteners tightly. A slight impulse in the right direction is enough to open them. Thanks to this ingenious technology, Fidlock buckles are extremely easy to use - even with one hand or when wearing gloves - and still secure. Added to this is the elegant look and high-quality manufacturing with robust, reliable materials.

The SNAP series includes the most versatile fasteners from Fidlock and ranges from small, inconspicuous fasteners in size S to extra-sturdy workhorses in size L. There are models for riveting, screwing on and off, sewing on, with strap attachments or with tube clamps. All SNAP fasteners consist of a MALE part and a FEMALE counterpart in sizes S, M or L. Depending on the intended use, parts of one size can be combined with each other. Each part must be ordered separately.

The SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE ANCHOR in size M is a male counterpart to the SNAP fasteners in size M from Fidlock. The SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE ANCHOR consists of 2 parts and works like a dowel. A hole with a diameter of 26 mm is drilled or punched into the desired material and the screw ring is inserted. Then screw in the actual base body, which pushes the hooks of the screw ring outwards, thus securing the ANCHOR reliably. The SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE ANCHOR is therefore more suitable for thicker materials such as wood.

In contrast to the normal MALE SCREW, the mushroom-shaped shaft for attaching is not fixed, but is held in place by a weak magnet at the bottom. This results in a flatter and more flush finish. When the SNAP MALE RETRACTABLE ANCHOR comes into proximity with a matching FEMALE counterpart, the shaft is pulled out and locks securely into place. After this process, the small magnet in the body of the RETRACTABLE ANCHOR pulls the shaft back in, leaving it as flat and flush as before.
