Cordura®

Highly abrasion-resistant and tear-resistant polyamide 6.6 from DuPont. Hot air texturing gives the surface a coarse structure and a feel similar to natural fibres. Cordura is available in different thicknesses, from 160 denier to 1000 denier, and is often blended with other fibres.

Disadvantage: the coarse structure of the yarn makes it difficult to coat.
