Our alternative to Soft & Stable, now manufactured in Europe:
Foam laminated on both sides with a soft polyester fabric, designed for padding and providing light reinforcement to bags. The composite is firm enough to give rucksacks or bags shape and structure, yet remains soft to the touch so that they do not become too stiff. Thanks to its thickness of 5mm. The padding has a cushioning effect and thus protects the contents of bags. It's placed between an outer fabric such as X-Pac®, Cordura® or any other bag fabric and an inner lining and sewn into the seam edges, thus fixing them in place. It is not necessary to place supporting seams or glue in the area, as this foam padding has sufficient tensile strength due to the fabric laminated to its surfaces. It's long-lasting, easy to cut and easy to sew. The outside polyester farbic can be used as velcro with a corrsponding hook tape.
This laminated foam is also available as small piece.
