Spacer Fabrics, Other Spacer Fabrics by the meter
An additional layer of fabric can protect foam from abrasion and environmental influences or change the feel and surface texture. To do this, a layer of fabric is glued or laminated to one or both sides of the foam. As a result, the fabric layer can no longer slip and does not come loose even after repeated folding. Typical applications include padding for transporting light to heavy equipment, protective covers or protectors. Strictly speaking, neoprene is also a laminated foam material, but you can find neoprene in the separate neoprene category.
