Zipper Aquaguard 5VT Teeth YKK

5VT Aquaguard stands for highly water-repellent and windproof zips from YKK that can be used for rainwear, softshells or even for bags and backpacks. A matt PU coating is applied to the front of the tape on these teeth zippers.

This means that the zip is largely watertight from the outside, cover strips can be minimised and weight can be saved. The 5VT zips with a teeth rail width of approx. 5.5mm are ideal for a wide range of applications, e.g. as jacket or pocket zips on garments, for backpacks and many other sewing projects. We offer the Aquaguard 5VT zips as separating versions (e.g. for jacket zips) or as non-separating zips (e.g. for pockets or vents) in different lengths, colours and designs.
