ULTRA TX50, backpack-laminate, polyester with ULTRA-CrossPly, 82g/sqm
Ultra TX 50 is a thin, lightweight bag or backpack laminate from Challenge Sailcloth with an elegant 82g/sqm. It has a three-layer construction: On the outside lies a thin 50den ripstop polyester, on the inside a 0,25mil thin polyester film. In between are diagonal black CrossPly fibers made of extremely tear-resistant UHMWPE-ULTRA. UHMWPE fibers are currently considered the non-plus-ultra in terms of tear strength and abrasion resistance. Due to the CrossPly fibers, the ULTRA TX50 has very good cross-stability and tear resistance. With its low material thickness and high polyester content, ULTRA TX50 is naturally only suitable for applications with lower mechanical stress such as small bags or accessories. The polyester film ensures that ULTRA TX50 is reliably waterproof (as long as the film is undamaged).
Seams can be sealed and stabilized with the <a href='https://www.extremtextil.de/en/search?p=1&q=ultra%20tnt%20psa&o=7&n=15&cf=502' title='UltraTNT™ PSA Tape as meter-goods'>UltraTNT™ PSA Tape</a>.
Suitable for Dye-Sublimation printing.
