Coated Fabrics, Lightweight up to 100g/sqm by the meter
The lightweight, coated fabrics with a weight to 100g/sqm are suitable for any application, where no excessive mechanical stress is applied to the fabric. Typical applications are lightweight tents, tarps, awnings, ultralight to lightweight backpacks, bags, thin covers, kites or decoration.
Notwithstanding the low weight, these fabrics are certainly also suitable for demanding tasks - you just should have in mind the technical limits of lightweight fabrics.
Among others in this category you will find some fabrics which we specially offer for ultralight purposes: e.g. ripstop-nylons, where a stronger thread is woven in for extra reinforcement or fabrics made with Dyneema for a high tear-resistance.
For fabrics that are regularly exposed to higher abrasion, fabrics with a weight between 100g/sqm to 250g/sqm may be more appropriate.
