A thin softshell with a beautiful wool-like texture. Touch-wise, it feels more like a 3-layer laminate (thin and slightly sturdier). However, it has a lower water column but very high breathability, making it ideal for use as a softshell. Thin softshell with a beautiful wool look. Thanks to the wool content, the outside has a matt, pleasantly soft feel. The underlying, wafer-thin PU membrane is windproof and waterproof. Although the material does not have a particularly high water column rating, it scores highly in terms of comfort and suitability for everyday use. The laminate is highly breathable, pleasantly soft and flexible. A thin, soft lining is laminated on the inside, which wicks moisture away and protects the membrane. The softshell is very thin and therefore only provides light warmth. We recommend this material especially for jackets, coats, vests and trousers for everyday use, when commuting to work or for walking and cycling in the city. This is where it really comes into its own in terms of comfort. For more active uses, we recommend our other, slightly more technical softshell variants.
