Softshell by the meter

With its versatile properties, Softshell is an absolute all-rounder for many outdoor activities. And the name itself describes very well what it is about: Softshell is a comfortable, flexible and soft, protective shell. The good wearing comfort is supplemented by a high breathability, heat insulation and wind- and water-resistancy. This makes it a perfect choice in most weather conditions and can usually replace a hardshell or fleece. Softshell fabrics can be distinguished in softshells with membrane or without membrane. Softshells with membrane are windproof, protect from rain and are in general more warming. Softshell without membrane are just wind resistant but therefore significantly more breathable and flexible.
