Fidlock has come up with something very special for its fasteners: Small neodymium magnets are hidden inside, which automatically click together when the parts are brought together. A mechanical latching mechanism automatically locks the fasteners tightly. A slight impulse in the right direction is enough to open them. With the SNAP BUCKLEs, Fidlock's innovative SNAP technology has been integrated into the flash buckle. The result is a flat buckle that allows webbing in widths from 15mm to 30mm to be opened and closed with ease. To open, they are moved sideways. To close, one part is moved towards the counterpart from the front and the magnets inside the buckle cause them to click together automatically.

The magnetic SNAP BUCKLE 20 for 20mm wide webbing is opened by sliding it sideways. To close, simply slide the two halves of the buckle towards each other. They snap together automatically thanks to the internal magnet and are held firmly together by a snap-in mechanical fastener. The female side has two bars for threading and adjusting the webbing, the male side has one bar which the webbing is looped around and then sewn in place.
