Fidlock has come up with something very special for its fasteners: Small neodymium magnets are hidden inside, which automatically click together when the parts are brought together. A mechanical latching mechanism automatically locks the fasteners tightly. A slight impulse in the right direction is enough to open them. Thanks to this ingenious technology, Fidlock buckles are extremely easy to use - even with one hand or when wearing gloves - and still secure. The SLIDERs are the Fidlock alternative to the classic quick-release buckle, but with a different opening mechanism. To open, they are slid sideways. To close, one part is pushed towards the counterpart from below, and the magnets on the inside cause them to click together automatically.

The SLIDER 25 buckle is opened by sliding it sideways. To close, simply slide the two halves of the buckle towards each other. They snap together automatically thanks to the internal magnet and are held firmly together by a mechanical latch. The male side has two bars for threading and adjusting 25 mm webbing, the female side has one bar which the webbing is looped around and then sewn in place.
