0,5mm thickness
Sheets made of polyamide (PA6) with a thickness of 0.5 mm are the thinnest type of plastic sheet material we have in our range. It can still be bent relatively well, but with considerably more resistance than polyethylene.
It is therefore suitable as a thin, yet robust, stiffener and reinforcement on backpacks, bags and many other projects. Due to its higher strength, it is not quite as easy to work with as polyethylene: although it is easy to drill and saw, it is almost impossible to cut with a cutter or scissors. It also cannot be sewn with a sewing machine.
