PU coating

Thin film made of polyurethane that is applied to the fabric with a squeegee or by spraying. Can be applied once or multiple times (multicoated). This makes the fabric waterproof or highly water-repellent (depending on the water column achieved). Properties: good bend strength, high abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, slightly reduces the tear strength of the fabric. Can be processed during manufacture so that the coating is breathable.
