Finally I find some time to send you some pictures. I have built a trekking backpack with daypack last year. I bought most of the material at extremtextil, so I think it fits quite well in the customer gallery.

Now to the backpack itself. As fabric I used coated 1000'er Cordura, webbing made of nylon. The backpack has an internal aluminum carrying frame and removable hip and shoulder straps. The daypack can be strapped onto the large backpack.

I tested the whole thing on a trip through Russia. I traveled, together with my brother, exclusively by public land transport from Lake Baikal in Siberia via Ukraine, Slovenia and the Czech Republic back to Germany. All in all it was about 10.000 km. The backpack was a reliable and trusted companion...
