Neoprene, 1,5mm Neoprene

1.5mm thick neoprene is the thinnest neoprene version we have in our range. It is therefore the lightest op-tion with the lowest cushioning effect. But it is more elastic than the thicker styles. So, it is ideal as lightweight, waterproof cushioning, for neoprene accessories, as sleeve ends etc. And for some more general information on neoprene: starting material for neoprene is chloroprene rubber or polychloroprene - a rubbery, elastic foam, that encloses super small air bubbles. Through these bubbles, the good insulating property is achieved next to a low weight. You can buy neoprene as sheet from us. Either as a complete sheet with 130x220cm or in smaller sections derived from it.
