Kevlar

Due to its high cut and heat resistance Kevlar is a reliable material for protection against sharp edges or abrasion in combination with heat. It is suitable for such applications as cut protection of ski wear, motorcycle garment, for work gloves and many other applications.

Please note that Kevlar is only conditionally UV-resistant. Undyed and uncoated Kevlar should therefore be protected from light or be processed as liner. Or use Kevlar with an additional coating that protects the fibers from UV-light.
