Diamond Ripstop-Nylon, Robic Ocean Recycling, 70den, UTS-coated, 100g/sqm

Lightweight, high-quality Diamond Ripstop nylon bag fabric made from 70denier Robic Ocean Recycling - robust, sustainable, and perfect for many technical applications. Robic is a certified high tenacity nylon 6 brand yarn from Hyosung with significantly higher tensile strength than conventional nylon 6. The shiny surface and fine, slightly raised diamond ripstop give the fabric a technical look. However, it remains pleasantly soft to the touch with only a slight stiffness. The special UTS-coating (Ultra Tear Strength) ensures a water column of at least 2000 mm and, unlike polyurethane, increases the tear resistance of the fabric.

Another plus: the yarn comes from Ocean Recycling. Old fishing nets are collected from the sea, processed, and turned into new nylon yarn. This saves CO2, reduces plastic waste in the ocean, and saves resources-while offering the same quality as conventionally manufactured yarn. The outside is treated with a PFC-free, water-repellent C0 impregnation.

The fabric is ideal for ultralight Backpacks, bags, and pouches. Seams can be easily sealed with our seam tape for coated fabrics or SeamGrip + WP.
