TIZIP MasterSeal 10, waterproof zipper w. teeth, both ends closed, 96cm
100% waterproof, strong TIZIP Zipper with teeth. The TIZIP MasterSeal 10 is made from high-strength fabric coated with thermoplastic polyurethane. The extra strong plastic teeth are fixed on the top and bottom of the zipper tape. The zippers coupling elements keep the sealing edges tightly sealed together when the zipper is closed. The extra wide zipper tape can be both welded and glued. Sewing is also an option, but the seams must be sealed after sewing.
From the beginning of 2025, only hydrolysis-resistant TPU ether will be used for TIZIPs. This makes the zips significantly more durable in damp conditions, but they can no longer be welded directly onto PVC. An intermediate layer of TPU ester is required for welding onto PVC.

Processing
The slider and teeth require a minimum 20 mm wide, free surface to run smoothly. For thicker materials such as neoprene, the width should be 30 mm. When bonding, no thinner or primer should come into contact with the teeth or the harbour. Roughening or sanding the surface is not permitted.
Storage and transportation
In order to achieve a high level of tightness, the slider of TIZIP ziper closed on both sides sits firmly in the end port. This means that more force is required, especially when opening for the first time. The slider runs relatively smoothly on the rail thanks to the generously dimensioned handle. The TIZIP MasterSeal 10 is highly resistant to damage caused by dirt or sand. However dirt or sand should be washed of with soap and water. Dirt particles can affect the sealing function if they get caught between the chain profiles. For short or long-term storage or during transport, the zip should be kept closed. The closed chain protects the sealing lips from damage and dirt. Avoid high humidity and temperatures above normal room temperature!

TIZIP zip fasteners are technically sophisticated products, so you should also observe the following instructions when using them. If the TIZIP MasterSeal 10 is used to protect life or material, the user should check the sealing function, especially the cleanness in the area of the coupling links, before use.
Care instruction:
To make it easier to open, the zipper should be lubricated from time to time. To do this, carefully apply TIZIP lubricating grease or a comparable product at the end of both sides of the zipper. The teeth do not need to be lubricated. A tube of TIZIP lubricating grease is included in the delivery. You can clean the zip fastener either with water or soapy water.
