Zipper Aquaguard 3C Coil YKK

Aquaguard stands for highly water-resistant and windproof zippers from YKK, which can be used for rain garment, softshells, as well as for bags and backpacks. With coil zippers, a PU-coating is applied to the back of the tape, which becomes the front when the tape is sewn in. This means that the zipper is tight from the outside, what reduces cover strips and saves weight. The thin 3C Aquaguard version with 3.5mm coil width is suitable for applications with relatively little mechanical stress and tensile force, e.g. for small pockets, ventilation slits or ultralight sewing projects. We offer the Aquaguard 3C coil zippers as separating zippers (e.g. for jackets) in different lengths or as zipper tape by the meter (e.g. for bags, collar zippers, ventilation). For the 3C Aquaguard zippers you need special sliders, which you can find separately in the category by the meter. The Aquaguard-sliders can also be used for standard zipper tape to produce a reverse-zipper with a smooth outside.
