Ventile® ECO 230 RCO, waterrepellant recycling-cotton, 230g/sqm

Ventile® version made from 100% recycled cotton. For the Ventile® ECO RCO line, pre-consumer waste is collected, processed, and woven. With PFC-free impregnation, it becomes one of the most sustainable functional fabrics on the market. Ventile® ECO RCO is GRS and Oeko-Tex certified.

Ventile® ECO 230 RCO consists of 100% medium-weight, uncoated cotton, which swells slightly when wet and thus becomes denser. A fluorocarbon-free impregnation is used, which supports the water-repellent properties of the material. As there is no coating or membrane to impede water vapor transport, the fabric remains breathable. Ventile® ECO 230 RCO is a medium-weight version and is suitable for applications where a stronger feel or greater stability is required. It is ideal for heavier jackets, for reinforcing shoulder and seat areas on jackets and parkas, or as pocket and backpack material. It has a visually appealing surface with a pleasant natural fiber feel.

Ventile® is the new name for EtaProof. The fabrics come from the same manufacturer and are of identical quality.

Care instruction:

The manufacturer recommends hand washing. However, machine washing at 30°C is also possible without damaging the fabric. Use liquid soap and no fabric softener! Hang wet on a shaped hanger to dry. Each wash weakens the waterproofing, so we recommend washing as infrequently as possible and removing stains with a brush or sponge. Dry cleaning with perchloroethylene is possible. Ironing at medium temperature is possible. The waterproofing can be reactivated by ironing.
