This tent stake in Vargo's classic hook design has been tried and tested for many years. Thanks to its curved shape, it can be pulled out easily even without a cord. The pointed and slim shape makes it ideal for very firm and stony ground. It is much easier to hammer into these than Y and V-profile stakes.
