Fidlock has come up with something very special for its fasteners: Small neodymium magnets are hidden inside, which automatically click together when the parts are brought together. A mechanical latching mechanism automatically locks the fasteners tightly. A slight impulse in the right direction is enough to open them. Thanks to this ingenious technology, Fidlock buckles are extremely easy to use - even with one hand or when wearing gloves - and still secure. With the SNAP BUCKLEs, Fidlock's innovative SNAP technology has been integrated into the flash buckle. The result is a flat buckle that allows webbing in widths from 15mm to 30mm to be opened and closed with ease. To open, they are moved sideways. To close, one part is moved towards the counterpart from the front and the magnets inside the buckle cause them to click together automatically.

The SNAP BUCKLE PIPING is designed for sternum strap adjustment systems. It is opened by sliding it sideways. To close, simply slide the two halves of the buckle towards each other. It snaps together automatically thanks to the internal magnet and is held firmly together by a mechanical catch. The female side at the top has two bars for threading and adjusting 15 mm webbing. The male side has a holder for a piping or a cord in the fabric on which the buckle can be slid.
