1mm thickness

Polyethylene in its high-density (HD) version is a very universal plastic. At 1mm thick, it is sufficiently strong to serve as a light stiffener on small bags and backpacks, adapts to many shapes and always remains flexible.

Despite the low thickness, it is very robust against abrasion and very break-resistant. It is also very easy to process: Polyethylene HD in thickness 1mm can be cut very well with a cutter or scissors and due to the sheet material you can also sew with a household sewing machine without any problems. Only when gluing there are limitations that should be taken into account. For applications where you need a stiffer and even more robust plastic, polyamide is more suitable, which we offer in the category polyamide sheet goods.
