Riri AQUAzip® 8 vislon zipper, by the meter
Water-repellent AQUAzip® vislon zipper in size 8 by the meter from Riri. The Swiss manufacturer Riri has long been known for its high-quality products in the textile industry.
AQUAzip® has a PU coating on one side. This is placed on the outside when sewn in. This makes the zipper highly water-repellent, eliminating the need for cover strips, reducing sewing work and saving weight.
You can use the zipper by the meter to make non-separable zippers of the desired length yourself. Not to be confused with waterproof zippers, such as those used for dry suits. Size 8 with a rail width of approx. 7.7 mm is ideal for zippers on robust rainwear or for heavy backpacks and bags.

Instructions for use
Do not lay in curves as this can damage the coating. Avoid direct contact with PVC. Repeated bending of the zipper can cause the PU film to become milky; prolonged exposure to UV radiation can cause the plastic film to turn yellow. Functionality is not affected. Do not use cleaning agents containing chlorine. Ironing too hot can damage the PU coating.
Note
Due to the production process, line-like bumps may appear on the PU-coated side at irregular intervals. These are not a defect and do not affect the function of the product. Riri zippers are not compatible with YKK zipper products.
