Ripstop-Nylon, downproof, ultralight, 7den, 24g/sqm

Our ultra-light, high-tech material from Japan is now available again as downproof version without additional kisscoating - and thus with higher tear resistance. The range of applications is similar to our downproof ripstop nylon with additional kisscoating: it is perfect for super-ultralight sleeping bags, insulated jackets, hats or windshirts. The calendering makes the fabric windproof and downproof. Despite the low weight, still amazingly strong and tear-resistant.

This down-proof, calendered version is suitable for use with the finest insulation fibres such as down or Primaloft. The dense construction ensures that absolutely no fibres, no matter how fine, penetrate the fabric. Of course, the fabric is also suitable solo for windshirts or similar applications without insulation. Despite the low material thickness, the fabric is still surprisingly stable, but should of course be treated with some care during processing and later use.
