Polyester taffeta, downproof, 55g/sqm
A medium-weight, soft, down-proof, and windproof polyester taffeta with one-sided calendering at a great price. The calendering makes the fabric down-proof and windproof. The outer side is matte, while the calendered side has a shinier finish. This polyester is suitable as an outer fabric for warm clothing or sleeping bags lined with down, Climashield, or Lavalan. It can also be used on its own as a very lightweight windbreaker or as a windproof lining for fleece or wool jackets. A water-repellent finish allows moisture to bead up and roll off, preventing the fabric from getting dirty quickly.
