Super universal sewing machine needles with flat shank for household sewing machines with non-stick coating. Perfect for attaching bonded tapes, adhesive Velcro and other self-adhesive elements - and of course for sewing many other fabrics from thick to thin. To achieve this versatile range of applications, the needle is coated with a particularly slippery non-stick coating with NIT (= Nickel-Phosphor-PTFE). The coating ensures that significantly less adhesive residue sticks to the needle and prevents thread breakage. An extra large eye supports this function (the eye of the 70 Super Universal needle corresponds to the size of a normal 90 needle). A special shaping of the groove and eye section prevents skipping stitches. The slightly rounded point shape can be used with most materials. The shank has a conical, extra thick thickening so that even thick fabrics such as jeans do not cause any problems when sewing.
