dtex
dtex stands for decitex: a unit of weight for textiles. It indicates the weight of 10,000 metres of fibre or thread in grams. For example, 370 dtex means that 10,000 metres of fibre weigh 370 grams. The smaller the value, the finer the fabric (e.g. microfibre is less than 1 dtex).
