This item is a ladderlock for 20mm wide webbing without pre-installed pins. The design makes it difficult for the webbing to slip through. It reliably clamps both our thinner and thicker webbing straps. The pins still need to be installed with this variant. This means it can be used to replace or repair existing ladder buckles without having to sew, e.g. to replace the buckles on backpack straps. However, it is also suitable for many other applications where a reliable hold and robust quality are required. Although it is made of metal, it only weighs 9.0 g and is therefore quite competitive with our plastic ladderlocks.
