Snow pegs

And sometimes sand pegs ....

These snow pegs are ideal for sand and snow. They have proven themselves both on the bike tour in Jordan and on various winter tours. The black pegs are made of 2mm PE sheets and are very light, but not particularly robust. The white pegs are made of 2mm polyamide plates and are somewhat heavier. But they can be knocked into hardened ground. For making them, the sheets were heated with a heat gun and bent over an edge.

So far we have tested the pegs at up to -15 degrees - without problems. They have also survived digging out of frozen snow without any problems.
