Silnylon tipi
As light as possible, as wind-stable as possible and simply constructed - these were the requirements for the new shelter.

A 6-sided tipi seems to combine the features perfectly. Since the tipi only requires 6 triangles to be sewn together (well, a little more will do....), the construction, cutting and sewing is very simple. As material we used the very light ripstop nylon, silicone coated, 45g/sqm, 2nd choice and the 90g tent floor.
On the Polish side of the Baltic coast, just near Usedom there is a beautiful, long sandy beach. Perfect for a small test tour with the new tipi. Rain at night, sun during the day and tailwind. Perfect conditions for a bike tour with a new tent!
