Evazote is a closed cell foam that is often used for insulating mattresses (the good ones, not the cheap PE-mats), in shoes, knee-pads and many other applications. Evazote is elastic, durable, resilient under repeated impact, has very good insulating properties and is slip resistant. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight for long time.
