The fabric is leftover stock from a European manufacturer's production, so we can offer it at a special low price.
Lightweight Dacron polyester with twin cross ripstop technology. This fabric was originally developed for sails. It stretches very little, is extremely dimensionally stable, windproof and absorbs very little moisture. However, it is only waterproof to a limited extent. The so-called 'Twin Cross Ripstop' weave makes the material very tear-resistant. As is usual for sailcloth, this fabric rustles noticeably and has a firm, stiff feel.
