Cordura, 500den, TPU-coated, HF-weldable, 370g/sqm, 2nd choice
The durable, abrasion restistant 500den Cordura with a strong one sided TPU-coating in bright colours. The coating is 100% water- and airproof, UV-resistant, very abrasion resistant and can be sealed by heat (high-fequency). Ideal for all kind of bags, backpacks, bike bags, panniers etc.. The coating makes it stiffer than the other PU-coated Cordura-versions in our range.

TPU info
TPU - short for "thermoplastic polyurethane" - can be formed and bonded by heat. In textiles, TPU is laminated as a film onto the fabric. The film makes the fabric reliably waterproof and airtight and can be joined coating on coating with an iron or by high-frequency welding. Our Corduras manufactured in Germany use 2 films of different thickness, which can be joined very well.
