Medium Threads (75-100 Nm)

Sewing threads with a strength of 75-100Nm are good all-rounders and can be used for most sewing projects. Especially outdoor jackets, bags or tents made of coated or uncoated fabrics can be processed well with these medium strength threads. Our range includes high quality sewing threads made of polyester, nylon as well as a core-spun thread made of a polyester core with a cotton coating. Polyester as well as nylon yarns are robust, durable and hardly absorb moisture and are therefore ideal for outdoor equipment. Core-Spun yarn is particularly suitable for tents, tarps and rain protection tarpaulins. It is just as robust and, in addition, the cotton sheathing swells slightly when exposed to moisture. This ideally seals seam holes in the fabric. For permanent waterproofness, the seam should nevertheless be sealed with seam sealer.
