Jersey

A jersey needle has a much rounder, spherical point compared to a universal needle. This round point glides through the fabric when stitching without destroying the fibres and thus leaves no run stitches or damaged fibres.

Jersey needles are perfect for stretchy trouser fabrics, soft shell, knitted fabrics, fleece and of course for working with jersey fabrics. We offer jersey needles in different strengths as well as mixed assortments. The thinner version (70Nm) is more suitable for light, fine fabrics. Accordingly, a 90 needle is the right choice for stronger fabrics.
