Fidlock has come up with something very special for its fasteners: Small neodymium magnets are hidden inside, which automatically click together when the parts are brought together. A mechanical latching mechanism automatically locks the fasteners tightly. A slight impulse in the right direction is enough to open them. Thanks to this ingenious technology, Fidlock buckles are extremely easy to use - even with one hand or when wearing gloves - and still secure. Added to this is the elegant look and high-quality workmanship with robust, reliable materials.

The HOOK series from Fidlock comprises a range of buckles that differs from the other Fidlock series in terms of the locking mechanism: It is opened by a tilting movement of the upper part of the buckle. Thanks to the internal magnets, all you need to do to close the buckle is bring the two parts towards each other - the buckle closes with a click. With the different designs and widths, many closure solutions can be realized. Please note that all HOOK buckles offered by us are not approved for safety-relevant applications such as helmets.

In the HOOK 20 TANKA sewable X3, Fidlock combines the typical HOOK folding mechanism with a cord stopper. This allows easy adjustment in length for  the looped cord. The buckle is opened as usual by opening the buckle cover. To close it, simply slide the two buckle parts towards each other. An elastic or non-elastic cord with a diameter of 2 to 3 mm can be threaded twice into the flap part. However, the cord should not be too smooth. In contrast to the HOOK Rope, however, it is not firmly fixed, but can be adjusted by pressing on the flap like a tanka or cord stopper. This allows the cord to be moved easily and the buckle is therefore well suited for fasteners with variable lengths for lightweight bags and rucksacks. If a loop is formed with the cord, the fastener is particularly easy to open. The base plate can be sewn on with the sewing surface on three sides.
