Apart from sewing, outdoor fabrics or synthetic fabrics are also well suited to be processed or repaired with adhesives and adhesive tapes. At the forefront is Seam Grip, a PU adhesive that can be used to repair just about anything from rainwear, tents, backpacks to shoes. However, Seam Grip is only suitable to a limited extent as an emergency adhesive on tour, as it takes at least 2 hours to dry out. For quick repairs on the road there are very effective small sets in tape form, like the Super-Repair Tape or the classic Duck-Tape. Other adhesive tapes also help during the sewing process, e.g. the double-sided adhesive tape for pre-fixing fabrics or the DCF tape, with which special fabrics can be permanently bonded. In the following category iron-on adhesive tape you will find yet another practical solution for repairing and bonding fabrics. More information about the adhesives can be found in the subcategories and on the article pages.
