YKK 4.5C Zipper by the meter
Lightweight and robust spiral zipper from YKK sold by the meter. This size is perfect for clothing and equipment made from lightweight to medium-weight fabrics. Compared to the 5C, the 4.5C has a significantly flatter coill and a softer tape. It is easier to bend around curves and is less bulky. Compared to the 3C, it is significantly more robust. Ideal for fleece jackets and half-zip sweaters, down and wind jackets, sleeping bags, etc.
Zippers sold by the meter are an inexpensive way to get the exact length of zipper you need. However, they cannot be used to make separable zippers. Sliders must be ordered separately for zippers sold by the meter!
