UltraTNT™ PSA Tape, Seam and Repair Tape with UHMW-PE, 50mm

UltraTNT™ PSA Tape is a waterproof seam and repair tape with Ultra™ UHMW-PE fibres. It consists of two layers of 0.25 mil polyester film with light grey Ultra™ fibres. Underneath is a highly adhesive and non-yellowing adhesive. The tape is applied to the film side/inside of fabrics to reinforce and seal seams. Due to the Ultra™fibres, the tape is highly resistant to stretching over its entire length. The angled Ultra CrossPly™ fibres prevent bias stretching and contribute to the tear resistance of the tape. UltraTNT™ PSA tape has excellent bond to the film side of Ultra™ and EPLX™ fabrics.

Application tips: 

Work at a room temperature of at least 21° Celsius.

The fabric should be clean and dry; otherwise, clean the fabric surface with rubbing alcohol.

Peel off the backing paper a few centimetres at a time and stick the tape evenly over the seam.

Then press evenly and firmly over the tape with a pressure roller (or by hand).

Allow the tape to cure for 24 hours for optimal adhesion.
