Truck tarpaulin, PVC-free, HF-weldable, 410g/sqm

We have been searching for an alternative to traditional PVC tarpaulin material for a long time and can now finally present a more sustainable alternative made from 100% polypropylene. The feel, appearance, and range of applications are similar to those of the widely used PVC truck tarpaulins: strong coatings on the inside and outside ensure that the tarpaulin is reliably waterproof and abrasion-resistant and has the firm grip and stability typical of truck tarpaulins. The 1000 denier base fabric makes the tarpaulin very tear-resistant. This makes it perfect for use as a robust bag or backpack fabric, for covers, covers, as sun, rain or weather protection, as a ground cover and much more.

The tarpaulin has two different surfaces: one side is rather shiny and slip-resistant, the other rather matt. Both sides have a slightly textured surface and can be used as the outer side.

The strong coating makes the fabric airtight and waterproof. It can be sewn or processed using HF welding. Unfortunately, welding with an iron does not work.

Since both the base fabric and the coating are made of polypropylene, the fabric is completely recyclable as a monomaterial. Unlike PVC, a monomaterial made of polypropylene is significantly more environmentally friendly in both production and disposal. The truck tarpaulin is UV-stable and does not become brittle even in cold temperatures.
