Ripstop-Nylon, supersoft, active kiss-coating, 20den, 44g/sqm

For this soft, slightly stretchy ripstop nylon, a highly breathable, stretchy base fabric made of textured, soft nylon is given a thin kiss-coating on one side. The texturing provides a very pleasant feel, a matt look and super comfort. Wind is largely blocked by a hint of coating, but the high breathability and soft feel remain. This combination of windbreaker, high breathability and slight stretch makes it suitable for light windshirts, which are ideal for movement-intensive sports in moderate temperatures, or as an outer fabric for Active Insulation garments in combination with Climashield or Polartec Alpha and our Active Lining. Active Insulation garments impress with a certain level of thermal insulation - depending on the insulation used - combined with high breathability. As wind and air are not completely blocked, heat build-up is prevented even at a high level of movement.
