Ripstop-Cordura®, recycling, soft, active kiss-coating, 20den, 40g/qm
Our Ripstop Cordura® Active Shell combines exceptional lightness with high functionality. The soft, slightly stretchy fabric is made from recycled Cordura® nylon 6.6 and is significantly more abrasion-resistant than conventional nylon. A thin, one-sided acrylic coating ensures that wind is largely kept out, while maintaining a very high level of breathability. Thanks to its combination of wind protection, slight stretch, and high breathability, Ripstop Cordura® is perfect for lightweight wind shirts, active sportswear, or as an outer fabric for active insulation in combination with materials such as Climashield® Apex or Polartec® Alpha. Since the fabric does not completely block air, there is no heat build-up even during high physical activity. The use of lightly textured yarns gives it a pleasantly soft feel, a matte appearance, and makes it extremely comfortable to wear, even during intense movement.
