Paint protection film, glossy, transparent, 3M™ 8591, thickness 0,35mm, width 120mm

Self-adhesive paint protection film 8591 from 3M™ in transparent, glossy finish and 0.35mm thickness as 120mm wide meter-goods. This protective film is perfect for protecting the paint of glossy painted bikes or other metal surfaces without affecting the look and appearance of the bike. The compact, smooth polyurethane (PU) surface is resistant to scratches, stone chips, abrasion or dirt - typical impacts that can damage the paint. When used with bikepacking bags, the film protects against scuff marks and scratches caused by sand or dirt between the paint and the bag. As a chain guard, it protects chainstays from scratches and scratches. On every gravel and mountain bike tour on loose surfaces, the film protects against pebbles and stones. It also protects the paint from weathering, stains, paint damage from falls or damage when the bike is parked.

The PU film is long lasting and UV stable, the acrylic adhesive used adheres to many solid surfaces as long as they are clean and free of grease and oil. The paint protection film is suitable for wet bonding. Thanks to the high elasticity of the film, it adapts well to different shapes. Since the film comes with a removable paper backing, it can be easily cut to the desired shape and applied to different parts of the frame and fork.

We offer the film in 2 thicknesses. This version with a thickness of 0.35mm is the thicker version for protection against strong mechanical loads. We recommend this thickness, for example, for protection against heavier loads such as stone and pebble impact, falls or the like.
