TPU info: | TPU – short for "thermoplastic polyurethane" - can be formed and bonded by heat. In textiles, TPU is laminated as a film onto the fabric. The film makes the fabric reliably waterproof and airtight and can be joined coating on coating with an iron or by high-frequency welding. |
Hydrolysis-resistance: | We use a hydrolysis-resistant TPU-ether film for this fabric. So the film is now suitable for prolongued use in humid conditions (i.e. objects that are inflated by human breath, packrafts, etc.). |
